This is Dancer, sitting nicely on the table at her first agility trial, in her very first run ever. She’s always that focused.

This is Elly. I love this photo, because she looks happy, even though she’s coming out of the chute. She hasn’t always been that happy about the chute, and I’ve spent a lot of time this summer training “tunnel love.” Lots of rewards for fast tunnels. Now she thinks tunnels mean hotdogs, instead of a messed-up topknot.

My husband, Jay Torborg, took these photos at the Puget Sound Poodle Club trial on September 3rd, 2007. It was Dancer’s 15-month birthday, so we celebrated by going to her first trial. I couldn’t run very well, because my leg is still healing, and we didn’t Q, but both dogs were happy to be there, which is important to me.
