I'm more used to it now, but there were times that I thought of asking why they gave me someone else's dog or other times when I know I had such a shocked looked on my face that I felt badly for the groomer later on. I'm better at hiding that now. When one is new to the world of standard poodles, those first haircuts can be harder on the owner than the wearer!
