Elly and Dancer did well at the RAT NADAC Trial
February 10th, 2008 Posted in Photos, poodles, trialsElly took second place today in Open Regular, with an excellent speed of 2.97 yards/sec… despite doing the weaves twice (something about the footing). That was the Q needed to complete her Open Regular title in NADAC, thereby giving her the first title beginning with O. She is now:
Moonstones Elinor NJC NCC NA NAJ NF NAP NJP NFP OAC
She also took second place (and a Q) in Open Jumpers, completing a 131 yard course in 26.44 seconds, for 4.95 yards/second, a personal best for her. (NADAC jumpers courses have no weaves.) She completed substantially the same course that Dancer did in Novice Jumpers–with an extra jump and an extra tunnel–and did it in half a second less. That was her first Open Jumpers Q.

Dancer took third place in Novice Jumpers, with a Q and a time of 26.97 seconds on a 119 yard course–4.4 yards/second.

Think Dancer jumps high enough?
