Elly’s Excellent Excursion

I’m beginning to think Elly is feral. Yesterday she got out of the yard (my husband left the gate open “just for a second”) and then took off into the woods. I was out doing errands and Jay called, in a complete swivet about it. She had no interest in coming in; she took off whenever Jay got near her. I suggested putting Dancer in her crate (so she wouldn’t go out too) and leaving the front door open, then just ignoring Elly. She was back inside in minutes. Elly hates being ignored.
