More teeter work

Why yes, I do know this is getting boring. That’s the goal. To get Dancer to the point where she thinks the teeter is boring instead of scary.

Lesson today. Big scary noisy metal teeter. Dancer trots right over it at the lowest setting. She does it a few times. She does it a few times at the second to lowest setting. She does it a few times at the third setting (of four). She scares herself. She doesn’t want to get back on. Back to the lowest setting–and no problem.

The funniest part, though, was when she went over to the teeter and reached out toward it, looking at me to see if that would get her a click. I said “you have to touch it.” She scrapes one toenail down the side of the metal and looks at me while she’s doing it. I clicked her, of course… while I was laughing.
