Working with Dancer
October 15th, 2008 Posted in trainingWhile Elly was off getting her moles removed, I took Dancer to an agility lesson where we focused on her contacts. It took me less than 40 minutes to create completely fried puppy brain, with both of us out of breath from working fast and furious.
She has a hard time stopping on the A-frame to make that contact.
Another new approach to the teeter. Start out with it higher than the previous session, do just a few repeats, then lower it and work on speed and drive. She did well with that method and a TON of treats.
