“Fried puppy brain”

Dancer has a problem with what I call “fried puppy brain.” In mere seconds, she will go from being excited and eager and fast to “oh please no.” That’s what I call fried puppy brain. My goal in every training session is to stop just before she gets fried puppy brain.

I’m getting much better at recognizing the signs. I try to finish the session with a couple of fast tunnels and then a few bits of “mug me” (her command to jump up on me).
