Stacia and I spent some time together last Saturday, and I took advantage of a helpless sale clerk to get her to take our picture in our matching hats. (I will also point out that I encouraged her to buy this wonderful dress for $10 at Goodwill while we were there (and then gave her the money it cost to go to the cleaners with it).)

I made my hat first–it’s a 2×2 rib in ridiculous expensive cashmere from Lobster Pot Yarns–and then Stacia tried to steal it, and asked for one of her own for Christmas. So I made hers from the same yarn, but improved the design a bit. 1×1 rib is certainly prettier but it takes FOREVER.
