Abuse of grooming equipment

I am sadly guilty of abusing my grooming equipment.

Partly not using it enough.

Partly using it too much.

For example: look closely at Elly’s tail in this picture:

Yep, I shaved all the hair off her tail. Why? Well, it was sadly matted, and she was annoyed with me when I tried to brush it out. Shaving it was faster, easier, and way less painful. For both of us.

And it only took her a few hours before she wasn’t so embarrassed by it.
