Having fun at the playground…
August 28th, 2009 Posted in life with poodlesI took Dancer for a long walk this morning, with a pocketful of treats and a clicker. I was going to work on walking nicely on leash (I took Elly for a separate walk and worked with her on that) but when we passed the merry-go-round at Mt. Tabor’s kid playground, I decided I’d teach her to push the merry-go-round.
Debbie and I have been working on all aspects of the teeter with Dancer, and of course one aspect is motion. So I was assuming Dancer would hate the merry-go-round. But thirty clicks later–she was pushing it in both directions, front feet on, and rear feet on the ground.
She’s so much fun to teach!
