Some videos of Dancer and Elly

December 3rd, 2009 Posted in life with poodles

Some videos from the ZAP NADAC trial.

Dancer, Open Jumpers, Saturday She took first in the 20+” class (of twelve dogs) with this run. (NADAC jumpers has no weaves.)

Dancer, Novice Weavers, Sunday (In Weavers, there are always three sets of weave poles. In Novice, there are three sets of six; in Open, two sets of six and one of 12; in Elite, three sets of 12. No jumps. Just weaves, hoops, and tunnels.)

Dancer, Novice Chances, Friday. Chances requires distance tests; the handler is not allowed to cross that pink ribbon. There are two tests in this run; one is a send to the tunnel, the other is a discrimination, which required that she take the outside tunnel. To get her to take it… I kept my mouth shut because it was right in line with the jump.

Dancer, Open Tunnelers, Saturday Tunnelers is ALL tunnels, so it’s all about the handling.

Elly, Elite Regular, Sunday (note the off-course hoop and the call on the A-frame contact).
