Training Trialing Feeling Stale…

August 27th, 2010 Posted in training, trials

Two weekends in a row of trialing felt like too much. I think it’s partly the heat. Thankfully it’s cooled down. Dancer seems a touch slow, as well. Elly is perky but not quite her usual fresh self…

And I’m feeling stale. I’m working with the dogs and thinking “I’m never going to get a NATCH/C-ATCH/MACH because Dancer hates the teeter, why am I bothering?”

And I have so many good reasons for bothering: I enjoy the competition. I enjoy the friends. Most days I enjoy the training–just right now it seems like a slog–it helps me keep fit. I adore the dogs.

But… I’m tired and my knees hurt all the damn time and I want my knees to STOP HURTING!

Totally understand the knee pain! It only takes one day without my anti-inflammatory for my knees to hurt again!

I’ve got an appointment with Dr. Robert to try the knee injections again too.
