Who works on teaching the dog to sit? I mean, really, with a poodle, they learn a nice default sit in about three seconds. Rush knew to sit to have his dinner put in front of him by the second ...

I realized this morning that several things on the new list require that Rush sit ahead of me, with his back toward me. Not something I've taught before! I think I'll start with Elly, then Dancer, then Rush.

At the vet's yesterday with Rush: he weighs 37 pounds. Elly weighs 51 pounds; Dancer weighs 51 pounds. That makes Elly a bit thin but the other two are fine.
